FESTIVAL RULES

  • We’re the newest independent, grassroots driven, community created multi-genre music & arts festival on the block in the Midwest… based in lovely Tulsa, Oklahoma. It’s a first-of-its-kind experience in our region that fuses music from established and emerging artists in a lush green forest along with glamping, camping, adventurous activities with our heart and soul rooted in giving back, social impact, and sustainability.

  • Ummm… soooo many things! Where do we begin:

You can expect some top-notch musical performances from national, regional, and local talent mixed with late-night drum circles side-by-side with glow-in-the-dark yoga gatherings and spontaneous body painting and live art mixed next to impromptu meditation gatherings, dance-like-nobody’s-watching-get-down-and-dance sessions, alongside thousands of new friends creating unforgettable memories until the starry night sky.

This is just the beginning though… there’s room for so much more. So… what do you want this to be?

We’re all in to have a phenomenal time, and this is the perfect time to share your two cents on what you want this to be so we can truly make that happen.

  • It’s all happening in the 1,000 acre forest surrounding POSTOAK Lodge, an event and retreat center located about 15 minutes North of downtown Tulsa.

The festival starts on Friday, September 6 from 4 pm - 3 am, and then Saturday, September 7 from 4 pm - sunrise (but check back here later in case the times change!)

There are some VIP ticket packages that allow parking onsite at Postoak Lodge, otherwise it is required to take one of our complimentary shuttles from the Osage Casino or Tulsa Community College (TCC) parking lots. More details coming about all of this soon!

  • Ohhh some really incredible ones… nationally known to some of our best local talent. Check out the artists we have announced on our line up page!

  • Awesome people who love creating new memories and having all-around good times; people who want to witness or help build this into one of the most epic festivals in the country but are willing to give feedback (email us at feedback@nptulsa.com anytime!) and be patient while we work out the kinks until that happens (Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?!). This is for you if you support our ethos of uniting the community around a shared value of celebrating our beautiful diversity, stretching the imagination to create new things, and are all about taking care of our environment in our enchanted forest, meanwhile honoring the old traditions or our past and always remembering where we came from.

If this is your jam, the Neon Prairie is for you… Welcome!

  • Grumpy people who go to festivals with a bad attitude, if you don’t care about the people around you or think littering anywhere is normal (FYI... it's not!), if you steal stuff, break the rules, litter, hurt cute kittens, plan on running off randomly into the forest beyond our security checkpoints to get lost (hello, bobcats, ticks, and rattlesnakes!), or you're kind of a jerk…

We love you but this isn’t for you right now.

  • You may purchase your ticket at our official online ticket store.

  • We have glamping, camping, and comfy “Staycation” options at the Post Oak Lodge rooms itself for the weekend… this is perfect if you don’t like driving home late at night (or after our after parties until sunrise, werrkk it!) and if you’re in for the ULTIMATE Neon Prairie experience and want a front row seat at our Saturday afternoon Oasis party with DJs and pool access.

We have partnerships with hotels throughout Tulsa that would love to host you also.

The glamping, camping, and lodge rooms on site will have limited space… so check back here soon to get yours as they’ll be ready to book online soon.

  • Yes, please email ticketing@nptulsa.com your campsite request to receive a campsite add-on QR code and password.

  • Yes! This is an all-ages event but attendees under 18 must enter with a parent or legal guardian. We're more kid-friendly during the day as it's definitely an “adult” festival later in the evenings:  We’ll have a super fun kiddy area that the adults will envy, but there will be free-flowing alcohol, we're 420 friendly, this year at least 1 headlining musician will shout explicit lyrics hilariously at us from the stage (Not until about 9:30 pm though, otherwise earplugs for the kiddos come in handy here!), people from all walks of life expressing themselves… some fully clothed but others might be scantily clad. Please keep this in mind, especially when bringing kids, and we look forward to having a great time with all of you at the festival!

  • Gosh… so many things! Check back here often for more details that we’ll share later about:

    • Our initiatives to support local musicians, artists, nonprofits, and sustainability efforts

    • Yummy food and drink options

    • How to volunteer, join our leadership team, or become an ambassador

    • What to bring or not bring to the festival

    • Our safety protocols (Safety comes first… always!)

    • Parking options

  • Check back here often for updates as a lot more good stuff is to come! Our goal is to build a highly anticipated annual event that one day creates a legacy like some of our fave festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Lightning in a Bottle, and Treefort (and HUGE thanks to our friends working on these world-class festivals for many years who are quietly helping us behind the scenes to ensure that we do it right here!), but…

We are only in our first year... but we’re on our way!

So the odds are against us… we're the underdog, the festival renegades, and we know there are people out there thinking, “Is this legit? Will this really happen?”

    And our answer is: YES.

It won't be perfect but if everyone sits back and does nothing and doubts us… then, well, I guess we'll launch this without them (whoopsie!)

We believe in the people in Tulsa and that we’re ready for a unique experience like this so stick with us through the successes and growing pains of being a 1st year festival. Let’s spearhead leading the way to create this landmark project that that’s positioned to lead our local music and arts scene to a global level which brings massive potential for profits, philanthrophy, and economic development for decades to come.
